Grade 6 leaders - Our school leaders attended the Annual Young Leaders Breakfast at North Geelong Secondary . They had opportunity to listen to a guest speaker - Laura Hingston, and enjoy breakfast with other leaders from around the area.

District Cross Country Results - All the students who attended gave it their all and were great representatives of Rollins. Congrats to Madi C in 5A who will represent the school at the Division Cross Country Event on Tuesday 19th May also held at Geelong Racecourse.

Grade 6 - Our Grade 6 students finished reading 'Once' by Morris Gleitzman as a class. This book follows a Jewish boy named Felix, living in Poland during WW2. It looks at the Holocaust from an innocent child's perspective and gives students a better understanding of a terrible time in history. We were lucky to take part in a Zoom incursion with staff from the 'Duldig Museum' in Melbourne, including the founder Eva De Jong Duldig, who was wonderful with our students and spoke honestly about her childhood and her family's experiences. The students were highly engaged and appreciative. More information is under 'Community News' of how to visit the museum.

Grade Prep - We are having lots of fun and learning so much in Prep!

We can write sentences and we can add numbers to make 10.

We’ve had lots of fun playing “Get out of my house!” in Maths too!

We made friendship bracelets with our Buddies.

We also loved having our Mums and special people come to our Mother’s Day celebration as well.
