NAIDOC WEEK 2026 - 50 YEARS OF DEADLY
This year, we warmly invite our school community to join us for our upcoming NAIDOC Week assembly as we proudly celebrate the NAIDOC theme, “50 Years of Deadly,” recognising the strength, pride and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples over the past 50 years. Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students will be at the heart of this celebration, sharing their voices, culture, and what makes them deadly within our school community.
Date: Monday, 29th June
Time: 12:30pm
Location: St Edward's Primary School, Hillvue Road
Following the assembly, we invite all families, visitors and special guests to join us for a sausage sizzle. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, reflect and celebrate together as a community.
We look forward to sharing this special occasion with you.

P & F Mother's Day Stall
A huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful families, volunteers and supporters who helped make the 2026 Mother’s Day Stall such a success!
Thanks to your generosity and support, we raised $2,837. Every purchase, donation and helping hand makes a difference and allows us to continue creating fun opportunities and resources for the students.
Seeing the excitement on the children’s faces as they chose special gifts for their loved ones was truly heartwarming.
Thank you again for supporting the St Ed’s P&F, we couldn’t do it without our amazing school community!
Labelling of Uniform Items
As the weather is cooling down, we are seeing many jumpers and jackets in the lost property baskets. These baskets are cleared regularly and clearly labelled items are returned to their rightful owners. It is impossible to return items that are unreadable or not labelled at all. Your assistance in labelling ALL uniform items and food containers is much appreciated.
Student Absences
All student absences need to be lodged on the Compass Parent Portal. Due to government legislation, notification of your child's absence must be received no later than 7 days after your child's last day of absence.
