Any student wishing to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist (Communion) who was unable to make the enrolment session is encouraged to enrol at our Family Mass on Sunday, 24th May. May is the Month of Mary

The month of May is the month that Catholics have dedicated to Our Blessed Lady, Jesus’ mother, Mary. During this month, Christians pray to Mary asking for guidance, love and support. One prayer that is prayed during May is the 'Rosary'. When praying the Rosary, Catholics use special Rosary Beads to help them say their prayers. The Rosary is based upon events that occurred in the lives of Jesus and Mary; both happy and sad. Prayers that are part of the Rosary include the Our Father, The Hail Mary, The Glory Be, The Apostles Creed, Hail Holy Queen and The Fatima Prayer.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Year 5 Grade Mass - Tuesday, 19th May, 9.30am

  • Years 1 & 4 Family Mass - Sunday, 24th May, 9.00am

We are very excited to give the students at St Edward’s Primary School the opportunity to participate in the 2026 NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge.

Every student at the Infants Campus will automatically be signed up for the challenge and read books from the challenge as part of their class and library sessions.

Primary students wanting to participate in this year's challenge will need to see Mrs Michell in the library to sign up.

Students are encouraged to log onto the PRC website from home to log their books, or Mrs Michell can log them in the library. Students should now start to log books they have read and also discover books that are part of the PRC using the link above. If you have any problems with logging books or accessing, please reach out.

If you have any questions, please reach out.
