Junior School Update

Junior School Assembly
At our Junior School Assembly on Friday 1 May, we celebrated students who demonstrate the qualities of being inquisitive learners.
Within our Vision for Learning, an inquisitive learner is someone who thinks creatively, constructively, critically and independently. We were proud to recognise students who consistently display these qualities through their approach to learning and engagement in the classroom.
Congratulations to all students who received Sports and Art awards, along with those students who achieved their pen license — a wonderful milestone to celebrate.
We also commend all of our Junior School students for the positive and enthusiastic way they have started Term 2. It has been fantastic to see students embracing their learning opportunities and contributing so positively to school life.
A sincere thank you to the many family members and friends who joined us for the assembly. Your ongoing support and encouragement of our students is greatly appreciated and plays such an important role within our school community.

It's a Mad World
On Friday 1 May, our Foundation and Year 1 students attended the ‘Mad World’ excursion at the Civic Centre in Cobram, where they were treated to an entertaining live theatrical performance combining magic, mime and plenty of humour.
The performance captured students’ imaginations from beginning to end, with many moments of laughter, wonder and excitement shared throughout the show.
Experiences such as this provide valuable opportunities for students to engage with the performing arts and develop an appreciation for live theatre, while also creating lasting memories alongside their classmates.
