National Youth Parliament

Congratulations to our Year 11 Nossal student, Sharon, on her outstanding achievement of being selected to participate in the National Youth Parliament program.

As part of this recognition, Sharon was invited to attend a face-to-face meeting with Julian Hill, Member of Parliament for the Bruce electorate, who personally congratulated her on her selection and discussed the opportunities that the program will provide.

During their meeting, Sharon and Julian Hill MP engaged in a thoughtful and wide-ranging conversation about a number of important issues affecting young people and the broader community. Their discussion covered current social and political topics, including concerns surrounding vaping and its impact on youth, as well as other contemporary issues of public interest.

This achievement reflects Sharon’s strong interest in civic engagement, leadership, and public policy. We are proud of her accomplishment and look forward to seeing the valuable contributions she will make through her participation in the National Youth Parliament.
