Grade 1 & 2 

These last few weeks we have been focusing on and reading some fairytales. We have looked at The Three Billy Goats Bluff, The Three Little Pigs and Goldilocks and The Three Bears. During Discovery time, the children were given a problem to solve, which was The Three Little Pigs House Challenge. The children were to plan, design and build a house out of matchsticks. The Big Bad Wolf was then coming to try and blow their house down. This turned out to be quite a big challenge but fun. Some houses stood the big wind of the Big Bad Wolf but some blew down.
