1/2A is so happy to be back at school and in our normal classroom again! This week in maths we have learned some new games to help us with our adding and subtracting. We have had lots of fun getting to play in our maths groups. 

NAIDOC Week was last week during the holidays. In 1/2, we read the story ‘Our Home, Our Heartbeat’ by Adam Briggs and completed some mindfulness colouring inspired by the ‘Urapun Muy’ artwork by Deb Belyea.The artwork depicts the hands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors that have carefully dropped a burning ember on to a fire - in line with the 2024 NAIDOC theme ‘Keep The Fire Burning’.
