Athletics Carnival

We had a very successful carnival at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Centre on the last day of Term 2. It was fabulous to see so many families in attendance to support our students on the day. Congratulations to all the students for their wonderful participation on the day. A special thank you is extended to Mrs Hardaker from the Catholic Schools Office and Tamworth Little Athletics for their assistance on the day.

 

At the conclusion of the carnival our age champions and runners-up were announced along with the winning house, Joseph! Congratulations to the following students:

Tennis 

Our Term 3 sport will be tennis. Over the term students will learn all the ins and out of this great sport from our local coach Mitch Power the head coach of Perform with Power Tennis Academy. Thank you Mitch for all your time and effort. 

BMX

Last weekend Lachlan Tolmie competed in round 6 of the Auscycling NSW/ACT state series in BMX. 608 riders from all over the country competed, with Lachlan, using his home track as an advantage securing a spot in the finals. 

Well done Lachlan!
