What's Been Happening Year 2
Year 2 Rippon Lea Estate Excursion!
This week, the Year 2s embarked on a historic excursion to Rippon Lea Estate, a journey back in time filled with excitement and exploration!
When we arrived, we were captivated by the Victorian mansion and its beautiful gardens. We learned fascinating facts about the estate’s history and its significance. We were all intrigued by the antique furniture and the stories behind each room in the mansion. We couldn’t stop saying “WOW!”.
In the lush gardens, we became Creature Catchers, embarking on a thrilling treasure hunt to uncover hidden clues and solving a mystery! We played traditional day games such as pick-up sticks, marbles and dominoes. Meeting some of the mansion's adorable bunnies and immersing ourselves in the olden-day lifestyle made the experience even more memorable.
Here are some photos from the day!
