EDSC Success at the 2024 EMR Cross Country Championship! 

Some of the College's best long-distance runners have advanced to the SSV State Finals after competing at the EMR Cross Country Championships held at the Yarra Valley Racecourse in late Term 2.

In tough track and weather conditions, the following students’ efforts were a highlight on the day:

• Daniel won the Boys 1213 Years event over the 3km course and his brother Ryan came 11th!
• Jaimee qualified for the next level of competition by finishing 15th over the 3km course in the Girls 15 Years event.
• Flynn ran a superb race to finish 4th in the Boys 1720 Years event over the 5km course. 

A special mention to the boys 1213 team of Daniel, Ryan, Christopher and Ryan who finished 2nd - a wonderful achievement! 

Congratulations to these students and the rest of the team that represented the College on the day. The SSV State Finals will be held on Thursday 18 July at the Yarra Valley Racecourse – we wish our qualifying students the best of luck!
