Please Collect Lost Property
It is nearing the end of term and once again our Lost Property pile is overflowing! Could you please remind your child to check for any items they may have lost throughout the term. Parents are also welcome to come and check after school hours.
A reminder that it is a good idea to name your child's clothing, as we endeavour to have anything with a name returned.
Any unclaimed items will be taken to the local op shop in the school holidays.

Attendance at MECS
We are pleased to introduce you to Linda, our new Attendance Officer!
Linda joined our Administration team towards the end of this term and has been assisting us with our attendance monitoring and reporting requirements.
Soon, in the MECS app, you will receive notification of some changes to our attendance processes. The main changes that we would like to draw your attention to are:
Late Arrivals:
Primary and Junior Secondary students arriving after 9am will need their parent/guardian to sign them in to school using the Compass Kiosk in the Main Office. We are asking you to walk your child into reception and sign them in.
Linda will be available to assist you with signing your child in using the Compass Kiosk for the first couple of weeks of Term 3.
Early Departures:
All early departures must be authorised by our office staff so we ask you to please report to reception to meet your child and we will sign them out of school and into your care.
Reminder:
A friendly reminder that you must submit an attendance note on Compass if your child is absent for any reason. If you require assistance with this please chat with the Main Office - we are more than happy to assist you!

Montrose Roundabout Roadworks
The Montrose roundabout will be affected by Roadworks over the holidays. Crews will work a combination of day and night shifts from 6pm Friday 28 June to 6am Monday 15 July.
