Eastern Regional Cross Country

For the first time, MECS Primary had 5 students competing at the Regional Cross country finals, where we were racing against schools from right across the eastern side of  Melbourne.  

Our students represented themselves and our school so well and gave their absolute best efforts. We as a school, couldn’t be prouder of what they have achieved in all the levels that they have participated in this year so far. 

A big congratulations to Zoe who placed in the top 12 and will be the first MECS Primary student to represent our school at the SSV State Cross Country Finals in July, after finishing her event strongly and overtaking a number of competitors in the last 300m to make it through. 

The team for this event were: Kyrin, Layla, Mack, Sage and Zoe.
