Digital Reports

On Wednesday our mid-year reports will be provided to families by email for the first time. For the last two terms, we have been working hard to implement a new electronic reporting platform for all classes.

The aim is to provide the same information as our traditional reports, but delivered digitally directly to families, through email. The format of the reports will be similar to current reporting templates, with only minor changes.

Reports will be emailed on Wednesday afternoon next week. If you do not receive your reports by email (at the address you have provided to school as part of your enrolment) by FRIDAY morning, please contact the school to update your email details.

You will also receive a reminder through text messaging on Wednesday, reminding you that reports are now available.

In term 3 we look forward to asking for community feedback around the new reporting process.

National Simultaneous Story Time

In week 4 we participated for the first time as a whole school in national simultaneous storytime with over 2 million students. We read the book Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker. What a fabulous event to be able to share the same book together and then have the author Aura Parker read it to us all at the same time. We asked each class to hold a competition for a someone to win their very own copy of the book. As this event is all about promoting reading, the competition was centred around reading behaviours. Here are the students who won the book in their class.

1006Congratulations to Yozen for winning the competition with her stunning cover illustration for the book "Bowerbird Blues"! Her creative and captivating artwork beautifully captures the essence of the story, making her a well-deserved winner. Well done, Yozen!

1008In 1008 the book went to Bella Le due to the amount of independent reading she does at home and completing literacy pro in her own time.
