Secondary 8

This semester Senior 8 has been very busy we have started a gardening program where the students are creating vegetable gardens. The students are investigating different situations where they need to create a garden for growing vegetables. They will also learn how to plant seeds and seedlings an understand the process of growing vegetables.

Students are enrolled in the QCIA Leisure and Recreation Community Access program where we will be visiting a number of different venues in Rockhampton.  We have been visiting Rigarlsford Park where the students have been engaging in a various activities designed to explore and enjoy their local park. Through sensory experiences, social interactions, and structured play, student will develop an appreciation for nature and community engagement.
