St. Vinnie’s Winter Appeal

St. Fidelis is a proud contributor to the St. Vinnies Winter Appeal. Every year, our donations of clothing, food, and toiletries make a significant contribution to the lives of the homeless and people in need. Our donations are distributed by St. Vinnies to the many charities they support, including women's and children's shelters, food vans and directly to people sleeping rough.

If you have clothing, non-perishable food, and/or toiletries you can donate, please place them in a bag at one of the collection points. Tubs will be placed in the children's classrooms, in front of the library, and in the foyer of the SLA building.

Please label clothing donations with the following information: ADULT OR CHILD, GENDER, SIZE, e.g., Women's size 12-14. Toiletries and Food donations need to be in separate bags or loose. This helps with the distribution to the appropriate charities.

Look out for posters around the school and notices in Audiri for information on what donations are needed. Donations are accepted until Friday, June 22nd. As always, thank you for your generosity and support of this wonderful cause.

Lunch Order Day

To celebrate ITALIAN DAY, the P&F committee are running a lunch order day for Thursday 20th June. Please see the following details and flyer for further information: Quickcliq ordering is NOW OPEN, and orders will close on Tuesday, 11th June!

Lunch Menu (supplied by Pasta al Dente)

Pasta with Napoli sauce $7.00

- Sauce contains onion & garlic

- Bring your own bowl or container

Sweets Menu (supplied by Aurora)Ice cream dixi cups $3.00 each

- Chocolate ice cream (contains dairy)

- Vanilla Bean ice cream (contains dairy)

- Strawberry sorbet (vegan and dairy-free)

Friendly reminders:- Update your child/ren’s class details prior to ordering.- If you have more than one child, you must place each order individually.

- In the 'Select a Date' section please ensure you select 20/06/2024.- Check for order confirmation email.- Food is delivered over lunchtime. Parents are required to send children to school with brain food and recess.

Apple Slinky Fridays

The next APPLE SLINKY FRIDAY is JUNE 14th! Children can bring an apple to school and, for a $1 donation, have it transformed into an amazing, edible slinky! Thank you to the committed P&F members who continually donate their time to assist. If you are keen on volunteering to help with this event, please email parentsandfriends.stfidelis@gmail.com.

Loose Change Drive

LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GET THAT LOOSE CHANGE IN…

“Pretty much everyone has a handful of loose change just hanging around at home.  Why not give those lonely coins a purpose and send them along to school with your child?  Each class competes to see who can raise the most money during term 2. At the end of the drive, the funds are collected for the school and the winning class will be awarded with a pizza lunch.”

Children are welcome to contribute as little or as many coins as they like, daily or weekly… There are no rules… so Start Saving those coins!

Students need to deposit their coins into their allocated ‘classroom money jars’. The last day to add coins is Thursday, June 13th, so get those coins in ASAP!

2nd Hand Uniform Donations

We welcome any donations of second-hand uniforms for our upcoming stalls. Please ensure that the uniforms:

• Are in acceptable condition with no fading, missing logos or stains.
• Have a school logo or are PSW labelled, therefore no Kmart/Target/etc. purchases.
• Are in a clean condition.

Please place your items in a bag and hand into the school office to donate.

• Trivia Night (adults only) – Friday 9th August (Term 3). Further information on this event coming soon!
• Frittole Making Class – Monday 19th August AND Wednesday 28th August (Term 3). Learn how to make homemade Italian Frittole. $30 per person, limited to 22 people per class. Further information on this event coming soon!
• Family Fun Night- Saturday 16th November (Term 4).$55 per adult, $30 per child – includes antipasto share plates, pasta and dessert. Drinks NOT INCLUDED! Further information on this event will be released Term 3!
