We are getting into the colder weather and at this time of the year comes colds and many other ailments. We have already had several students absent with illness. It is best for them to stay home to allow time for them to rest and recover.
Oral Presentations:
All students brought a note home last week and an email was sent via Compass this week with information regarding oral presentations that will be happening over the next few weeks. Each child will be required to prepare and present a 3 - 4-minute presentation on the day allocated to them about our Inquiry topic, ‘How can we care for our health and wellbeing’. See note or email for further information.
Coming up in Week 9, on Friday 14th June:
(REPEAT)
This term we are exploring the inquiry question of 'How Can We Care For Our Health and Wellbeing?' To assist us in finding out, Proactivity will be running a 'Ninja Warrior' incursion which includes an obstacle course, inflatable zorb chamber, giant Earth ball, tug of war and karate fitness. During this incursion, Year 3s will be examining the benefits of physical activity and fitness to health and wellbeing. They will also perform movement sequences which link to fundamental movement skills as well as combine the elements of effort, space, time, objects, and people when performing movement sequences.
*Keep an eye on Compass for when you can consent and make payment at your earliest convenience, please.
