Lockers

We have a number of students returning to their lockers between periods. You need to make sure you are taking everything you need for both sessions with you to class, so you are not late. If you are late, you will start receiving class teacher detentions to make up the time missed.

Also, make sure you have a lock on your locker. If you have lost yours or do not have one, please see one of your coordinators.

Uniform

With the weather getting colder, we are noticing that a few students are wearing incorrect school uniforms. Students are not permitted to wear a jumper, hoodie or any other item of clothing that can be seen, under the school uniform. Students will be asked to remove it and put it in their locker. If the students are seen with it again, the item of clothing will be confiscated, and a parent/guardian will need to collect it from the school. Students are also only permitted to wear PE uniform on days they have a double session of sport. Unless there is a valid reason for wearing the incorrect uniform, with a note provided in homeroom or a phone call made from home before homeroom begins, students will receive a lunchtime detention for wearing the incorrect uniform.

Exams

Exams for the year 7 and 8 students begin in week 8. All students are expected to attend their scheduled exam time, with catch-up exams being organised for students that are absent on the day. All students are to have their own equipment for exams (pens, pencils, highlighters, rulers, erasers and a calculator). No equipment will be given out to students at all, so please make sure that you are organised. If you do not have the equipment that you need, please see your teachers or your year-level coordinator before your exams.

Your exam timetable will be shared shortly either via Google Classroom or email.

Junior Sub-School Camp

We had our Junior Sub-School camp in week 4. It was a great experience, with students engaging in a number of activities, such as a high ropes course, rock climbing and archery. It was fantastic to see students interacting in such a positive manner and being willing to try all the activities!
