NEWS & ADMINISTRATION

Mrs Caroline Galea

This week, our choir went to the Arcare Nursing Home to bring some joy to the elderly residents.  By all accounts, the children sang beautifully and the residents enjoyed the children's company and singing.  Thank you to Rosa Zannoni for her continued dedication to the choir, giving up many of her lunch breaks to ensure that the children are well prepared.

Inappropriate Language

Lately, it has been brought to my attention that some children are making poor choices in regard to their language when on the soccer field.  Could you please discuss with your children the importance of using appropriate language at school.  Equally, if your child is subjected to another child making poor choices, they need to say something to a staff member.  Inappropriate language used at school, will not be tolerated.

School Closure Day

Just a forward reminder of our School Closure Day for staff professional development and planning, on Wednesday 26 June (in the last week of term).  No children to be at school on this day.

**Also, all students finish at the normal time of 3.20pm on the last day of term - Friday 28 June.

Italian Day

Dear Parents/Cari Genitori,

Just a reminder that our Carnevale Day celebrations will be on Wednesday 12th June.

The children are excited about coming to school dressed up in Carnevale style clothes. They can come dressed up in any colourful clothes, dressups such as story or movie characters, fancy dress costumes or even clothes of the Italian colours or anything ‘Italian’. They are in the middle of making their Carnevale masks during Art sessions and they are being very creative. The masks look amazing!

You are all very welcome to join us in the hall for our traditional parade at 9am. The children will dance around and parade their costumes and masks for us to admire. As our costumes are not focussed on particular characters, the children will not present who they are and there will not be any prizes given, as this is something we do for Book Week next term.

If your child would like to order the Italian Hot Food lunch, please send the order and correct money to school by next Wednesday 5th June, so our wonderful P&F can organise the delicious Italian lunch for the day.  If you have more than one child at school, it's perfectly ok to put the order forms & money in one child's envelope.

Grazie!

Signora Bregu
