SSV State Tennis

Senior Girls had a great day at the State tennis at the new Glen Waverley Tennis Hub.

Some tough matches were played, and the girls did very well.

Overall, they should be proud of their effort.

They finished 6th in the state for Senior Girls Champions.

Thanks to Nic Dudman and Nicole Bucilli for accompanying them on the day and for the support of parents Kaye, Angela, and Marcus.

SSV Cross Country

Another hugely successful day for our Mary MacKillop athletes today at SSV Gippsland Cross Country in Wonthaggi. We had multiple individual winners and place-getters, school champions in several age categories... and the overall handicap win!!! Congratulations to all students on their participation, determination, resilience, and beautiful behaviour throughout the day.

SSV Football

The Intermediate Girls' football team headed to Maffra last Thursday for the SSV Gippsland Regionals Football event. They faced two strong teams: Lowanna and Catholic College Sale. Some of their players are currently playing football for Gippsland Power! While the MMCRC girls didn’t come away with a win, they demonstrated courage, and perseverance, and did their personal best. One of the best parts of the day was the cheering and support for one another when someone took a great mark or laid a strong tackle. They are the first MMCRC girls’ team to have qualified for the next round in football and should be so proud of this incredible achievement!
