Board News

The Board held the Annual General Meeting on Thursday 30 May 2024. Congratulations to Mrs Jane Millar who has been appointed as Chairperson of the Board. Thank you to Dr. Sydney Paul who has held this position for the past three years and has now been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson. Congratulations to Marcus D’Angri who has been appointed Treasurer, and our gratitude to Fleur Cousins who undertook this role for the past twelve months. We also welcome and congratulate Mrs Leeanne Zamagias who has joined the Board and brings extensive Corporate Governance experience. Mrs Fleur Cousins and Mrs Jane Millar have also been appointed as Board Directors for a second term.

The invaluable contributions of Ms Skye Engwerda and Ms Simone Knight were acknowledged at the Annual General Meeting. Skye and Simone shared how much they enjoyed being part of the Board of Moama Anglican Grammar over the past three years.  They are looking forward to continuing their involvement in the MAG community. Our sincere thanks to Skye and Simone for sharing their skills, expertise and valuable time and for assisting the Board as Directors and as Chairs of Board Committees.

Staff News

This week we farewelled Sue Glennen from the Primary Reception and Administration position, which she has undertaken for the past eight months. Sue is continuing in the Administration team in a casual capacity, so you are still likely to see her at the school from time to time. We thank Sue for her valued contribution to the MAG team and wish her all the very best.

We have recently welcomed Chelsea Leslie back to the Communications and Events team, following twelve months parental leave. We were most fortunate to have Tanya Main in this role for the past year while Chelsea was away. We are delighted that Tanya is continuing with us for a further few months in our Main Reception role.

Lou Kennaugh will be taking some much deserved Long Service Leave for twelve weeks from mid June. During this time, Michelle Horkings will undertake the role of Office Manager and Registrar.

Mother's Day Thank You

Thank you to Moama Bakery and Cadell Food Service for their very generous support of our recent Mother's Day celebrations. Both of these local companies are very strong supporters of our School and we are very grateful.

End of Financial Year Donations

Moama Anglican Grammar has two ATO registered, tax-deductible funds including our Scholarship Fund and Building Fund. If you are considering making an End of Financial Year donation, please don’t hesitate to make contact me either by phone or email. Every donation of any amount will be gratefully received and will make a lasting difference!

2025 Enrolments

The school was buzzing with excited children and families on Saturday 18 May at our annual Kinder Enrolment Day. With very strong interest from families, we anticipate that we will likely have three Kinder classes in 2025. If you are aware of any families who have children commencing Primary School and are still making a decision for 2025, please encourage them to arrange a time to visit our School. Enrolment enquiries can be submitted via the school website or by phoning our Registrar on 03 5480 5900.
