Tips of the week - To increase productivity and reduce stress in VCE.

  • Hydrate your brain

Sip water every 20 minutes while studying. A hydrated brain will help improve focus, concentration and motivation.

 

  • Stress is okay

A little stress is okay and completely normal to experience throughout your VCE studies. It helps tune the brain and improve performance. If you think your stress levels are too high, try a meditation app like Calm or Smiling Mind for some activities to bring the heart rate down.

 

  • Remember you are not alone

Lots of students are experiencing the same things in our community. Much like many things in life, if we lock in a time to complete study with a friend, we are less likely to make an excuse as we are accountable to an external source. Reach out to class mates to set up a regular study group if you are struggling for motivation to do it alone.
