Multicultural Day

Multicultural Day

On Tuesday, May 21st, the Belmont High School community united to commemorate the diverse cultures within our school. With families from around 40 of the 195 countries worldwide, BHS represents approximately 20% of the world's cultural diversity.

The celebrations began with our very own Mr Mclauchlin on the Digeridoo, followed by a special guest on the Bag Pipes, and music performances from our BHS band members. Many students, and their families, prepared some culinary delights, which were sold out within minutes, leaving time to enjoy the Indigenous, Russian, and Indian art activities.

All funds from the food sales will be going to purchase an all weather outdoor table tennis table for the whole school community to enjoy.
