Assembly

Congratulations to all of our students who received awards at the assembly last Friday and thank you to the P&C for providing us all with a free BBQ lunch to farewell Brad.

Thank you to Jess for coming in to work with our students to present the musical items they preformed at the recent Eisteddfod and thank you to Leah for organising some entertaining songs for our students to present to Brad.

Life Education Visit

On Tuesday this week Lower and Upper Division participated in lessons hosted by Life Education.

Lower Division learned about "Harold's Friend Ship", where we were shown the importance of having good friends and also the importance of being a good friend to others. Upper Division learned about making informed choices around smoking and vaping. 

Details of each session were sent home with students on Tuesday. Our thanks to Kira for coming to visit us for a very enjoyable and informative lesson.

Rocky River Garden

Earlier this year in Term One, the whole school helped to clean up and replant the school vegetable garden. Since that time, students have looked after the garden - watering and weeding while watching the plants steadily grow.

Last week, students took advantage of the wonderful sunny days to harvest and enjoy some of the produce such as carrots, beetroot and broccoli.

Our thanks to all students for their participation and we hope to get more produce soon.
