Do we have your most up to date contact details? 

As part of our 2024 school year procedures (as required by the DET) you would have received by separate email today, your 2024 "Student Enrolment Information Form".

Please take the time to read this enrolment information and make any alterations as required.  In particular, employer name, work contact and emergency contact numbers are required in case your child may be unwell or injured.

In relation to Family Details on page 3, the Government allocate funding to schools, according to our parent/guardian "Occupation Group".  If no occupation is received then the code reverts to the highest occupation group possible and in turn reduces our school funding for the year.  If you have changed your occupation, please look at the Parent Occupation Group Codes at the end of the report and amend if necessary.

All information is for statistical reasons only.  The information is strictly confidential and in accordance with the Privacy Act.

If your child is subject to ‘Custody Restrictions’ the school must have a copy on record.

If the information is correct, please sign and return the 1st page of the document as a hard copy. If there is any information that is incorrect, please write the updated information next to each item and return the whole form to the school office, by Friday 28 June.

School Photographs

School Photographs have arrived and were sent home with the children on Tuesday.  If you did not order photographs your child will still receive a photo bookmark that will contain the details as to how to order photographs should you now want to.  This will require an individual access code which is printed on the bookmark. The school office also have a copy of these codes. Further instructions are contained in the attachment. Please note that Individual and class photographs ordered now, are mailed directly to your home so there is an additional mailing cost.

Special group photographs were taken of:

• SRC
• School Captains
• House Captains
• Grade 6 Leadership groups including specialist captains and Peer Support

Scholastic Book Club- Issue 4 orders close tomorrow

Remember that every parent/guardian who placed an order from the Issue 3 catalogue receives a $5 credit to spend in Issue 4! This means, regardless of what you spent, youwill receive the $5 credit and with books as low as $2 in each issue, this is a fantastic opportunity to increase the amount of books in your household this term.

There is an additional bonus coming with Issue 4: every Issue 4 order will earn a $5 promotional code to spend on Issue 5 (NB. There will be $15 minimum spend on Issue 5 required to apply the promotional code)

The due date for Issue 4 orders isFriday 14th June 2024.

As always, you can continue to order from this issue after the school close off date, but delivery of the books will be made directly to your home and not to school (and will incur a charge of $10).

Second Hand Uniform Sale

On Friday 21st June between 2.45pm and 3.30pm the PPA will run the Term 2 Second Hand Uniform Sale in the Gym Foyer. Stock up on a great range of uniform clothing, save on landfill and support the school. Both EFTPOS and cash accepted.  Items are priced from $2 to $10 with most at $5.

Families wishing to donate can drop clean, wearable, uniform (with school logo) to the school office.  Thank you for your continued support.

100 years - pin badge/Centenary Parkdale Primary School Cookbook

Our commemorative pin badges are still on sale for $5 and our Centenary cookbook for $30. Both items can be ordered via Qkr! (under the 'Centenary Keepsake' tab) and will be issued at the end of each week to the student whose name they have been ordered under. Alternatively you can pop in and buy a badge from the office (card payments only please).
