Acting Principal for the remainder of 2024

 

3. Favourite way to spend your weekend or a day off? 

Spending time with my family, camping or visiting friends.

 

4. Favourite season (winter, summer, autumn, spring) why? 

Summer - I love the warm weather!

 

5. Favourite food/s: 

Pizza 

 

6. Favourite book and why? 

The Happiest Man on Earth - It is a great story which reminds me of the positives in challenging times

 

7.  Favourite sport: 

Cricket

 

8. Your favourite subject you studied at school? 

Maths

 

9.  AFL football team or other favourite sports team? 

St Kilda

 

10. Favourite music group / or song? 

Foo Fighters

 

11.  First impressions of JPII as principal? 

This is an incredibly special place. The staff and students are amazing. The best thing so far is seeing how much the staff care for our students.

 

11.  What or who inspired you to pursue a career in education? 

My mother was a principal and I was lucky enough to work with some fantastic principals who showed me how great the job can be, and how much of a difference a principal can make.

 

12.  What are your unique attributes that you bring to JPII? 

My job is to make an environment where others can succeed.  I do everything 

I can to make that happen. 

 

13. What are you most looking forward to in being the Principal at JPII? 

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone. I am looking forward to working with families and staff to make sure our students reach their full potential. 

 

14.  If you could go back in time what would you say to your younger former student self? 

Above all, be kind to yourself and others.

I am really pleased to be able to contribute to this fantastic school and make it the best place to learn, play and work.
