Grade 2 | Clever Classes

Grade 2 had an interesting morning at Littlewood Farm out on the farm and in the shearing shed.  The visit connected with both our Science and Literacy Learning. In Science we are learning about different materials so heading to the farm gave us an opportunity to learn more about wool and the process from farm to products. We were very lucky to watch the young farm dog Pip ,who is in training,  at work rounding up the sheep. We also watched one of the sheep being shorn. It was great to connect this experience  with the story Pete the Sheep which we read earlier in the year.
