Prayer for World Environment Day - 6 June

Dear God,

 

Let us not forget the gift we have been given,that we may continue to act as guardians and stewards of all your creation.

 

Fill us with awe and wonder today and each day as we behold your infinite creativity. Give us the courage and strength to view and engage our environment as the sacred space it is and to work to protect it from corruption and exploitation.

May we view all you have created with reverence and admiration,that we may be reminded of your constant presence in our midst.

 

As we walk each day, let us remember all those who have come before and walked these same lands.

We must not forget that what we have been given is not only for us, but for the generations to come. Let us cultivate a world teeming with life, where a safe enriching environment is abundant enough for all, that God's love and glory may shine through for generations to come.

 

In your name we pray, Amen.

2024 Sacramental Dates

2024 Yr 6 Confirmation and Yr 3 First Holy Communion Parent Sacramental Prayer Evening was held in the Church with Fr Patrick on Wednesday 22 May at 6pm. This Prayer Evening was for the parents of students who are making the sacraments this year in the Bulli Parish (not students).

Year 6 Confirmation Retreat Day - Monday 17 June facilitated by Year 6 teachers and Mrs Smith at school. Students wear mufti on this day. In preparation for Confirmation, Year 6 will attend reconciliation with Fr Patrick and Year 6 teachers on Thursday 13 June at 9:30am in the Church. The school community continues to pray for the Year 6 students preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

2024 St Joseph's Bulli Sacramental dates for Confirmation are:

• Term 2 Week 8 Tuesday 18 June and Wednesday 19 June at 7pm.

Enrolment forms were distributed at the parent prayer evening. Please see the parish if you still require a form or download the attachment below. All forms need to be returned to Fr Patrick or the Parish Office by this Sunday 9 June.

2024 St Joseph's Bulli Sacramental dates for First Holy Communion are:

• Term 3 Week 7  - Sunday 8 September at 8:30am and 5:30pm
• Term 3 Week 9  - Sunday 22 September at 8:30am and 5:30pm

Online booking will be available at the end of Term 2. Anyone who didn’t complete an enrolment form in 2023 please contact the parish office.

Year 2 First Reconciliation (Term 4) will be communicated once finalised with Fr Patrick.
