OUR FAITH

PRAYER

God of all, you sent your Spirit to be with the disciples, filling them with joy, peace and courage. May we also be filled with your Spirit, be brave and share your peace in our world.

Amen

We pray ...

for..... all our mothers who we love dearly and for all candidates who are preparing to make their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist this term.

LITURGY NEWS

Yesterday some of the students in Year 6 had the opportunity to attend Reconciliation. Next Wednesday,  more Year 6 students will be able to attend Reconciliation and Kinder will have a class visit with one of our Parish Priests.

Mother’s Day Mass – Thank You

Thank you to all our parents and friends especially mothers, aunts, grandmothers, great grandmothers who were able to attend our Mother’s Day Breakfast and Mass last Friday. What a wonderful and fitting way to say thank you to the special ladies in our lives. A special thank you to Fr Chris for presiding over the Mass. Also a huge thank you to the dads for setting up, packing away, cooking and serving the delicious breakfast and treats. A special thank you to the staff and students who are always so supportive in helping set up and for going with the flow when Mass is celebrated at the school.

Family Masses

Our next Family Mass will be held Sunday 2nd June (Year 3) at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m.

These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards.

 The Month of Mary

May is the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We can take the month of May as an opportunity to renew our own devotion to the Mother of God by dusting off our rosary beads and adding a few more Marian prayers to our daily routine. Prayers such as The Angelus, The Regina Caeli and The Memorae are some that can be included in your daily prayer as well as saying the Rosary.

MEN'S BREAKFAST

Men’s Breakfast

Saturday 25th May 2024

The weather may be cool, but the companionship will be warm and welcoming. We have outdoor heaters. Bring a coat and bring a friend. The food will bring you back. Everyone is welcome. Be ready by 7am.  We can eat, chat, hear great reflections from men just like us. You can move on with your day after 8am. Please let us know if you are available, so we don’t run out of food. Share the message with your mates.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Regards,

Patrick
