Stay Safe | Try Your Best | Act Responsibly | Respect Others
This week our 3-6 teachers will be in training for the BeYou Body Bright program. This program is centered around self-respect, self image, healthy eating habits and self confidence. We will be sending home detailed information about this program next week. I recommend reading the Body Bright Parent information sheet, including a family checklist to review practices at home to ensure the language and behaviours at home are building up positive body image:
You are welcome to visit the Body Bright programs website: https://www.butterflybodybright.org.au/
We are currently exploring the P-2 program for our junior students.
Our SRC will be meeting this week to begin the process of adding a zipper bomber jumper to our uniform. They will be gathering student voice on the style and design from the school. We look forward to seeing their work!
Our behaviour focus this fortnight has been Respecting Others, the level of respect shown by all students over the last few weeks in particular respecting the whole school's Anzac Day and Pope passing's reflection has been exceptional.
Congrats to all our Gotcha Winners the Gotcha winners of Term 2 will join the Gotcha Hot Chip Party at the end of the term!
Congrats to BLUE house for starting the term off to a flier!
