Learning this week:
Word Study in Week 10:
Year 3’s will be focusing on able sound
Year 4’s will be focusing on schwa /o/ sound

In Reader’s and Writer’s workshop we will be:
Exploring features and constructing poems.
Being a communicator about reading, book recommendations and my reading choices.
Participating in reading conferences and setting goals for our reading
Mathematics: We will be exploring shape and symmetry, through our dance moves. Our number focus will be on division and number patterns.
Unit of Inquiry: We have started our dance workshops – some love it, others find it challenging! We are focusing on showing our Learner Profile Attributes – particularly being Risk-Takers and being Open Minded. We will also reflect on different art forms and identify the relationship the art form has with the audience and its message.
We will be presenting out dance piece in chapel THIS WEEK (Week 10). We will be recording it to upload to Toddle but would love to see you there.

GLOW week (Week 9, Term 2)
We are super excited that GLOW week is back in Week 9 Term 2. If you have any special skills or hobbies that you’d be willing to share with the children, or if you would like to volunteer for this amazing week of learning, please contact your classroom teacher.
Mr Salisbury will be on leave for Week 11, with Ms Neumann and Mrs Richardson taking 34NS.
