Principal's Report

iCAN 

What a wonderful way to end the term!  I am incredibly proud of the 40 students, 4 staff and many parents who completed the 42km walk.  A special shout out to our volunteers who supported our walkers all the way from St Kilda to Frankston.   Altogether, Elisabeth Murdoch College, Langwarrin Primary School, Woodlands Primary School, Langwarrin Park Primary School and Pearcedale Primary School have raised just over $270,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal.  I cannot put into words the admiration I have for all those involved and to see all the schools pull together to achieve such an amazing result!

Staffing

We welcome the following new Education Support staff to the team:  Max Cooling, Julie-ann Davie, Laura Elton and Sarah Garnier.

We welcome back Amy Campbell 2 days a week as she has returned from family leave.

We say a sad farewell to Mrs Alyson Savory who will be leaving us in early Term 2 as she is moving to another local school.   Once we have news on Mrs Savory’s replacement I will let you know.

Using Toilets Onsite

Student toilets are for LPS students only.  If any parent, toddlers, high school students etc. need to use the toilet please come to the office as we have a toilet available for use. 

3-6 Cross Country

The weather was on our side with perfect conditions for a job around Lloyd Park this morning.  Well done to all the students who competed, thanks to the parent helpers, staff and Mr Coburn for assisting and organising this school event.

Easter Break

I wish all families a safe and happy Easter.  I hope to see everyone back raring to go for Term 2!
