Around the Grounds - Junior School

Year 5 Camp

Our Year 5 students had an unforgettable experience at Bayview Adventure Camp in Grantville, embracing every exciting challenge that came their way. They soared along the flying fox, canoed across the dam, aimed for bullseyes in archery, and took a leap of faith on the high ropes. The giant swing was a definite favourite for most!

A visit to the Penguin Parade made for a memorable evening, and our newspaper fashion parade brought out everyone’s creativity.

Throughout the camp, students built new friendships and strengthened old ones and we have all come back to school with lasting memories.

Junior School Council

These students have been our JSC reps for Term 1. Our Junior School Council plays an important role in representing student voices and fostering leadership skills. It provides a platform for students to share ideas, discuss school improvements, and organise events that benefit the school community.

This term they have been organising the beginnings of a Pom- Pom A Thon. They have been collecting wool in preparation of a big pom-pom making session for our upcoming Junior School Production. If you have any wool/yarn that could be donated it would be gladly accepted.

There will be boxes available in the foyer next term to drop off any wool.

A great start to the JSC year, Kean, Sahir, Shreya, Kristen, Hallie, Bella, Isabella,

Ryan, Zichen, Hriyaan and Charlotte (absent, Iris).
