Beginner Ensembles
Our beginner Da Capo Strings and Etude Band have started their weekly rehearsals and are already sounding great. Both groups are bigger and better than ever, the Etude Band at a record size this year, and we look forward to hearing all of our Music ensembles performing at the Winter Concerts on Thursday 26 June.
A reminder to all students who are new to the program, don’t wait too long to order your Performing Arts uniform as this must be worn at the Winter Concerts.
Acquiring Instruments
A small number of new students are yet to organise their instruments for this year. Without an instrument to practice on at home, it is very hard to keep up in a group lesson. Information on acquiring an instrument is available in the class Newsfeed for most Instrumental Music classes on Compass.
ANZAC Day Performances
The Concert Band and combined vocal groups will be performing at special ANZAC Assemblies on Thursday 24 April, and the Recital Choir will be performing bright and early at the Doncaster RSL on Friday 25 April. If you’re a Recital Choir member, please make sure you have consent to attend this performance logged on Compass.
