Dear Parents,

We have been extremely busy in this final week of Term 1 with Assemblies, the Green Award Sausage Sizzle lunch, the K-2 Easter Hat parade and our school ANZAC service. We thank all of our parents for their support throughout Term 1. Term 2 is definitely a busy one. The calendar on the Newsletter and Sentral will be kept up to date. At any time, if you need require and information or clarification about an event, please contact the office at school.

We have several staffing changes occurring in Term 2. Ms Reilly, one of our Special Education Teachers, has resigned from her position. We thank Ms Reilly for her work this term with 3-6R. It is wonderful to welcome back Ms Alice Nathan to her position as a Special Education Teacher at Bathurst PS and will teach 3-6R. Mrs Julie George will take Tuesday and Friday’s off in Term 2. We will fill this vacancy before the end of the term. We also farewell Mr Jim Milne (GA Jim) who has decided to take up a General Assistant position at another school. GA Jim will be very missed by students and staff, and we thank him for his work at Bathurst PS over the past few years. Again, we will fill this position in a temporary capacity for Term 2 whilst staffing work on filling this position.
