Graduate Outcome Awards

Last week, we celebrated students who displayed the Graduate Outcome of FAITH. These students received a Graduate Outcome Award.

Students who graduate from St Therese’s Primary School are people of FAITH, who develop a relationship with God.

For the next fortnight, staff will be on the lookout for students who display the Graduate Outcome of HOPE.

Grade 6 Camp Reflection

Last week, our Grade 6 students headed to the Alexandra Adventure Resort for Camp. Let's have a read of a few of their reflections:

Camp was the best because I could go on the flying fox upside down. I enjoyed the set up of the cabins and I was able to sleep at night. - Aster

My favourite part of camp was high ropes because it was fun doing the laps around it and it was really high which made it scarier! I got to be in a cabin with my friends and I got lots of sleep both nights. - Edward

The flying Fox was heaps of fun and was not scary and I felt safe at all times. The ice cream was delicious and super creamy! I enjoyed hanging out with my friends. - Kritika

The highlight of camp was the high ropes because I was challenging myself trying to get across it without looking down. I loved hanging out with my friends. - Jack

2025 NAPLAN

Congratulations to all of the Grade 3 and Grade 5 students who participated in our NAPLAN assessments over the last fortnight. Across Victoria, students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sat a total of 1,159,137. Together at St Therese's, our Years 3 & 5 students completed 439 NAPLAN tests!

Congratulations Mrs Woods!

A huge congratulations to our amazing PE Teacher, Mrs Woods, for winning the Celebrating Cricket in Schools Award at last Friday's Cricket Victoria Community Cricket Awards in Melbourne! The award goes to “a school, ambassador or initiative that celebrates the connection between school, student and the broader cricket community.”

A massive achievement!

St Therese's Cross Country & Big Water Walk

Our St Therese’s School Cross Country will look slightly different again this year. It will be held at Harry Trot rather than at Beischer Park or at school. This decision was made after parent feedback and student safety in mind as well as cost savings on buses and the lack of toilet facilities at Beischer Park.

This year we will combine our Cross Country with the Caritas BIG Water Walk. Caritas fundraising QR Codes would have gone home to families last week. Please collect donations regardless of whether your child is running or walking.

Students will be given the option of running the cross-country course to qualify for the SSV Division Cross Country event or walking a shortened distance with buckets of water as part of the Caritas BIG Water Walk.

Thank you to some of our sports and school leaders for modeling the new uniforms this morning.
