2026 PARENT & CAREGIVER OPINION SURVEY
The annual Parent and Caregiver Opinion Survey, offered by the Department of Education, will be open online from Monday 17 August to Friday 18 September 2026.
The survey provides families with an important opportunity to share feedback about their experience of our school. It is designed to help us understand families’ perceptions of:
- School Climate
- Student Behaviour & Engagement
- Community Engagement in Learning
- Teaching practices that support Student Engagement and Outcomes
- Attitudes towards School Attendance
Participation is optional; however, we encourage and appreciate your feedback. Survey results help us identify areas for improvement, inform professional learning needs and guide future school planning and improvement strategies.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and can be accessed at a convenient time using a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
The online survey is available in English and 10 other languages: Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Additional translated resources are also available to support families who speak a language other than English at home. Please contact the school if you would like a survey guide in your language.
We value the feedback of our families and encourage parents and caregivers to participate when the survey becomes available.
ROBOCUP 2026
Today, Ramlegh Park Primary School proudly hosted RoboCup, bringing together students and staff from schools across the region for an exciting day of robotics, innovation and friendly competition.
Our students have been working hard towards this event throughout the term with the support of Kinga Ritchie, Jodi Gething and Courtney Wright. Their passion for this event has helped students develop their coding, engineering and problem-solving skills in preparation for the challenges of the competition.
Throughout the day, students worked together to program their robots, test their ideas and make adjustments when things did not go according to plan.
A special thank you to Kinga, Jodi and Courtney for the time, encouragement and expertise they have given our students throughout the term. Thank you also to everyone who helped organise and support today’s event.
Congratulations to all the students who participated and helped make RoboCup at Ramlegh Park a fantastic and memorable day!
GROWING INDEPENDANCE
TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR BELONGINGS
An important step towards independence is learning to take responsibility for personal belongings.
Students can be supported to pack and carry their own school bag, remember their hat and drink bottle, organise their learning materials and check that they have everything they need before leaving home or school.
Occasionally forgetting an item can also provide a valuable learning opportunity. Rather than immediately solving the problem for them, encourage your child to consider what they could do differently next time. These small responsibilities help build organisation, confidence and accountability.
