From the Principal

Dear families, as we approach the end of the school year it is important to note that P - Year 5 students finish on Tuesday, 16th of December at 1:20pm. It is also important to note that school reports will be sent home on Monday. In my SchoolStream this past Monday, I did say they would be going home this Friday, please accept my apologies for this mis-step. 

This will be the final newsletter of the school year. I would like to take this chance to thank everyone within the school community for their ongoing support of our school. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. 

Last night we farewelled our Year 6 students of 2025. We wish them all the best in their futures, we hope they look back on their years at STM with fondness and happy memories. Good Luck Graduating Class of 2025!

Passing on Ceremony:

Well done to the following Year 6 students who received awards at our recent Passing On Ceremony.

Congratulations to our School Captains and Vice Captains.

The remainder of our student school leaders will be introduced in the newsletter early in 2026. 

Christmas Carols:

What an amazing turn out for our 2025 Christmas Carols. Thanks to Mrs Wicks for setting the students up for success. A big thanks to the parents who came. It was a bumper crowd. A bigger venue will be needed for next year. 

Bell Times - 2026:

A small change to Bell times for 2026 due to the increase to 6 classes.

8:20am - Supervision will begin

8:45am - Classes being 

11:10am - Recess time (until 11:30am)

1:10pm - Lunch time (until 2:00pm)

3:00pm - Bus Bell

3:10pm - End of School Day

Just a note for parents, there is also a slight change due to the Specialist days due to staffing availability:

Tuesday - Performing Arts and Visual Arts

Wednesday - Physical Education 

Thursday - Japanese

2026 School Apps (IMPORTANT!!):

A call for uniforms:

As we approach the end of the year we are putting a call out for any old uniforms to be donated to the school. These can be dropped in the office so they can be placed in the second hand uniform cupboard.
