We are thrilled to announce that four of our staff members have been recognised as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEE) for 2024–2025:

These are outstanding achievements, and we’re proud that ASC is one of only four schools in Western Australia with multiple staff members receiving this recognition.
What is an MIE Expert?
MIE Experts are visionary educators who embrace continuous learning and collaboration to drive positive change in education. They leverage Microsoft technologies and innovative teaching practices to enhance student engagement, creativity and collaboration. Beyond the classroom, they share their expertise through training events, conferences, blogs and social media—helping to inspire educators everywhere.
Congratulations to Becca, Sarah, Elizabeth and Greg for their commitment to innovation and excellence in teaching!
Blair Outdoor Education Camp
On Monday 3 November, the Years 9 and 10 Blair Outdoor Education students set off for an exciting three-day adventure at Wellington National Park near Collie. This camp was the perfect opportunity for students to put into practice everything they had learned through Semester 2.
Based at the beautiful Potters Gorge campsite, students took part in a range of activities including bushwalking, sea kayaking and team-building challenges. They took responsibility for planning, preparing and cooking their own meals, showing pleasing independence, skill and teamwork. It was wonderful to see how they grew as individuals, and as a group, over the three days. Along the way, students faced and overcame a variety of physical and mental challenges, building resilience and confidence through persistence and support for one another.
A huge thank-you to the dedicated staff, Mrs Tatjiana Lees, Mr Dave Boldy, Miss Zoe Wilkinson and Mr Luc Latino, who gave up their time to support the students and make this amazing experience possible.

WAASA Leadership Day
I thought that the WAASA (Western Australian Anglican Schools Association) Leadership day was an extremely fun and insightful experience. I found it inspiring talking to other students my age and learning about their schools, how their leadership processes work, and bonding over the similarities.
During the day, we got to learn about different leadership styles, and discussed how to cultivate a collaborative and involved community environment. I met all sorts of people from places all the way from Bunbury, and it was a great way to meet new students. For future leaders, it's definitely a rewarding program, not only for brainstorming ideas on how you can build yourself as a leader but also for enhancing your confidence to speak to new people and engage with unfamiliar and, perhaps, uncomfortable settings.

Duke of Edinburgh Award Winners
Last week, we proudly recognised some of our Year 10 students who have completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
Each certificate and pin represents a unique journey—hours of volunteering, learning new skills, physical activity and pushing through challenges. Every story is different, but all share the same qualities: balance and persistence.
Congratulations to our Year 10s! To learn more about the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, please contact Samantha.rees@allsaints.wa.edu.au or visit: https://dukeofed.com.au/
SSWA Futsal
Week 4 saw four of our talented Year 7–9 Futsal teams take to the courts at the prestigious SSWA inter-school tournament, hosted at Cockburn ARC. With determination, an infectious enthusiasm and outstanding team spirit, each team showcased the values of our College with pride. The competition was tough, but all our teams rose to the occasion. Two of our squads secured second place in their respective groups—a wonderful achievement that reflects their hard work and resilience on the day.
A notable highlight of the week came from our Year 8 boys’ team, who were undefeated – a truly exceptional performance that speaks to their skill and teamwork. Every player should feel incredibly proud. Their sportsmanship, energy and camaraderie were second to none. Congratulations to all involved. We’re excited to see what’s next as we continue to build into the future!

Junior School Music Concert
What a wonderful evening it was on Tuesday as our Junior School students took to the stage for their annual Music Concert. Families and friends were treated to performances from our instrumental and choral ensembles, showcasing the talent, hard work and enthusiasm of students from Years 2 to 6.
Each group performed beautifully, with students playing and singing their hearts out. A huge thank you to our Junior School Music Teacher, Ms Amelia Verlato, for her dedication in preparing the students and coordinating such a fabulous event.
