From the Director of Senior School (Teaching and Learning) Ms Shannon Armitage
As we reach the end of the year, it is a perfect time to pause and reflect on the learning journey that has shaped 2025. At All Saints’ College, we believe that student agency (taking ownership of learning) is central to success. Reflection is a key part of this process, helping students recognise their growth, celebrate achievements and set purposeful goals for the future.
Reflecting on the year allows students to consider what strategies have worked well, what challenges they have overcome and how they can continue to develop as independent learners. This practice not only deepens understanding but also builds confidence and resilience.
Parents can play an important role by encouraging reflective conversations at home. Questions such as “What are you most proud of this year?” or “What’s one skill you’d like to strengthen next year?” help students to think critically about their progress and set meaningful, achievable goals.
We are incredibly proud of the growth and determination our students have shown throughout 2025. As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to see them embrace new opportunities, take ownership of their learning and continue to flourish as self-directed scholars.
Students in Year 11 and 12 in 2026 have been sent their course confirmations for next year. Students should contact Mr Shackleton directly if changes are desired, but please note that course changes are subject to availability and are limited.
For students in Year 11 and 12 in 2026, full year course changes cannot be made after the end of Week 3, Term 1 2026.
Students in Years 9 and 10 (2026) have been sent their course confirmations for next year. A strict process for seeking changes to elective subjects will be advised at that time, and changes will be able to be made at the commencement of Term 1 next year
