Craft

The students and I have settled into our new art room creating new rhythms and routines. Students in Years 2–6 have completed their knitting projects, which began back in Term 2.
Prep/1 students are stitching hessian bags and stuffed toys.
The class two students are finishing the craft year by creating a simple papier mache animal form.
Class 3/4 have created their papier mache pulp and are also using newspaper strips to create their papier mache animal forms. Students used recycled plastics and cardboard strips to create their forms.
Our class 5 students are busily working on their weaving designs with great enthusiasm.
Check out their amazing art in the many pictures.
It has been another very busy and creative year in the art room. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the many families who have supported the art programme and the many creative endeavours of the children.
Safe holidays and see you all in 2026!
