NORTHERN METROPOLITAN REGION GIRLS SOFTBALL FINALS
What an incredible season for our Girls' Softball team, who went undefeated throughout the Winter Interschool Sport season and continued to impress at the Northern Metropolitan Region Finals. After a tough first game loss, the team showed tremendous grit and determination—regrouping, adapting their play, and coming back strong to win their next two matches. Although Viewbank will progress to the next stage, our girls can be immensely proud of their performance.
Sophie was outstanding as backstop, saving countless runs, while Maddie and Abi delivered brilliant pitching all day. It was fantastic to watch the teamwork, encouragement, and communication displayed by every player, both on and off the field.
Congratulations, girls, on an amazing season. You represented our school with skill, sportsmanship, and our GREAT values. You should be incredibly proud!
COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
