Grade 2/3/4

It's been a busy week for the 2/3/4's!

In Literacy we have been studying 'Matilda' by Roald Dahl and exploring the lives of Matilda and her passion for learning. The students have been exploring various vocabulary words and using them in sentences and are questioned to think about them in terms of their own lives.

In Numeracy the 2/3/4's have been delving into measurement and the conversion rates between centimeters, meters, kilometers and millimeters. They have used trundle wheels to measure different areas such as the oval and all around the school grounds. They also have been using rulers to measure items around the room and convert these from millimeters to centimeters.

In Science we have been diving into the water cycle and the class really enjoyed making their own water cycle in a bag!
