Attendance
We're now halfway through Term 2, and we’d like to share some important updates about school attendance. Thank you to all our families for helping keep school a place of consistent learning, connection, and growth!
✅ Week 5 Highlights
- Whole-school attendance held steady at 90.98%, marking a pause in the mid-term decline.
- 178 students attended every day in Week 5 — up by 13 students from the previous week.
- Several classes saw big improvements:
- 2AP jumped by +5.52%
- 2LP increased by +4.00%
- 6RM lifted by +5.00%
- 3JS rose by +1.42%
These positive shifts suggest students are re-engaging after the mid-term dip — a great sign as we push into the second half of term!

Keeping Sick Students Home
A reminder to all families: if your child is unwell, please keep them at home to rest and recover fully before returning to school. This helps keep our school community healthy and ensures students can engage positively when they are here.
If your child is absent, please make sure to notify the school via our usual communication channels.
Thank you for your continued support in building strong, healthy routines for all our students.

PBIS
PBIS Focus This Week: Leave No Trace
This week, our Positive Behaviour Blitz at school is all about “Leave No Trace.” Students are learning the importance of being respectful, responsible, and safe by cleaning up after themselves, looking after shared spaces, and leaving places better than they found them.
We’re reminding students that taking care of our environment - both inside and outside -shows respect for our community and the people around us.
How Families Can Support at Home
You can help reinforce these important messages at home by:
- Encouraging your child to clean up after themselves (e.g., packing away toys, clearing their plate)
- Talking about the importance of leaving shared spaces tidy for others
- Practising how to care for the environment (e.g., putting rubbish in the bin, recycling properly)
- Praising efforts to be responsible for personal belongings and shared items
When families and schools work together, we build consistent habits that help children thrive socially, emotionally - and as caretakers of their world.
As part of our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behaviour Interventions and Supports) focus, we’re helping students learn and practise what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe not only with others, but also with the spaces and environment they use every day. With your support, we can help children build lifelong habits that reflect pride in themselves and their surroundings.
