What's Happening at CHPS

PE News

Division Cross Country - 

On Tuesday, June 3rd, eleven students will represent CHPS in the Division Cross Country at Yarra Glen Race Course. It's an amazing effort to get that many students through to the division, and we wish them all the best on the day. 

Year 5-6 Interschool Sport - 

On Friday, 6th June, we have our first Gala Day for our Winter InterSchool Sports. Teams have been selected and pinned up in the hallway for students to see. 

We are still looking for parent helpers for the following teams. If your child is in one of these teams and you are available on Friday, June 6th, or Friday, June 27th, please let Jarrod Butcher know via jarrod.butcher@education.vic.gov.au.

The venues on Day 1 for each of the sports can be found below. Please note, these may change for Day 2.

Touch Rugby - Great Ryrie Primary School (Aquinas bottom oval)

Softball - Croydon Hills Primary School

Parents who do wish to attend these events must sign in at the event conveners' table.*

Library News

Thank you to all the families who supported our Book Fair. It was wonderful to see so many excited students coming in with their wish lists and purchasing books. The Book Fair was a great fundraiser with similar sales to last year. 

Thank you to all the school staff and parents who volunteered at the Book Fair. A special thanks to our wonderful Library Technician, Sue Offer, who always goes the extra mile to make the Book Fair such a great event. 

With regard to orders, all books that were in stock have been delivered to students. Families who have books on backorder have been emailed and these will be delivered to students when they arrive.
