Dear Families,

This morning we farewelled our Year 5-6 students and a number of staff and parent helpers as they headed to Camp ADANAC in Yarra Junction! We wish the students a wonderful 3 days of outdoor adventure!!

Our thanks to Nicole O'Halloran our Year 5-6 coordinator  and to all the very generous staff and parent helpers for their organisation.  

Staffing 

We welcome back Kelly Moxon and Marg Klupacs from their LSL. 

The students of 3-4 MK are delighted to have them back. 

Charlotte Savage our replacement teacher did a fabulous job in their absence. 

We congratulate Deb Smith on her new appointment as an LSO at a new school in Geelong. Deb will be finishing at St Jon Vianney's on Friday 6th June. We thank her for her contribution over the last couple of years and wish Deb well for her future.

Principal Lunch

We had a beautiful Lunch yesterday with several students who chose to use their PBL tokens for  a lunch!!  I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as  I did.

Nazareth Taster Day

Last Friday our Grade 5 students went to Nazareth College to participate in a 'Taster Day' to find out more about being a 'Secondary School Student'.

This is a great transition initiative that helps our students begin to prepare for High School.

The feedback from students has been very positive. 

Division Cross Country

Modelled Reading

The modelled reading program continues this week, and we had an excellent turnout. Thanks to parents who volunteered to help. If you wish to help with this program you do need a Working with Children. Please email: lwithers@sjvmulgrave.catholic.edu.au

National Simultaneous Storytime
