Literacy: Word Study: Year 2 sound focus this week is: ue. Year 3 sound focus this week is: ue, u_e, ew Below are the two lists of words we will be using at school to practice the sounds with.

Writer’s Workshop: we will finish our unit exploring information texts. We plan on publishing an infographic on a chosen landmark. Please support your child by asking them about their chosen landmark and having discussions about it.
Readers Workshop: we will be focusing on finding connections in the books we read, using books as mirrors.
Mathematics: We will be revisiting collecting data using tallies and will begin looking at how we represent data using graphs. If we get time, we may revisit shapes and objects this week.
Unit of Inquiry: We will finish our main unit of inquiry this term – Where we are in place and time with a focus on Landmarks. It is also the last two weeks of our Who We Are unit on Resilience.

Glow Week – Term 2, Week 9 (June 23 – June 27)
Just a reminder that you are invited to our GLOW Week Celebration afternoon on Friday 27th June. This begins at 2pm in the worship centre. We would love to see you there to celebrate and share in the learning that has occurred during this week.
