Year 3 Excursion to Lady Northcote

My favourite activity at the Lady Northcote Excursion was archery because when I grow up I want to be a hunter and it was really fun I got a really good aim too. My aim was so good I got a second try. Sadly I was last in line. I also got a really good experience of how to use a bow and arrow. The bow looked very real and so did the arrows, mostly because they were really sharp. I also used to have a bow and arrow set at my house but the arrows weren't sharp. – Abdullah

My favourite activity at the Lady Northcote Excursion was foosball because I love soccer. We also won and had 979 points altogether only in our class and came… 1st. My 2nd favourite bean bag was because we had to throw it in the whole and add it together at the end. – Nhat

My favourite activity at the Lady Northcote Excursion was archery and foosball because I like archery cause we get to get an arrow each time. Soccer we get to be a statue in the soccer thing. – Valerie

My favourite activity at the Lady Northcote Excursion was archery because it is tricky and you have to pay attention and it was cool we got to use arrows and bows. There were a lot of things to do there like a balance beam and foosball and more. It was very fun while it lasted but archery was still my favourite. - Afnan

Waste Free Wednesday

At Deer Park West Primary School, every Wednesday the school participates in Waste Free Wednesday. The students are encouraged to bring a lunch box with NO RUBBISH for both recess and lunch. This is a great way to reduce the amount of waste we create in order to make the earth healthier.

Please assist your child/children in doing this by taking items out of their packets before coming to school.

Thank you,
