Trial Athletics Carnival: Friday 13th June, 2025
School Athletics Carnival: Thursday 26th June, 2025
Diocesan Athletics Carnival: Thursday 7th August, 2025
Athletics Carnival
The Trial Athletics Carnival will be held tomorrow, Friday 13th June. This event is for Years 2 - 6 only. Students will be bused to the track at various times and returned to school for the remainder of the day and normal pick up.
Please keep an eye out on Compass after the Trial Day to consent to the Athletics Carnival - Thursday 26th June. This will require separate permission. Parent spectators and volunteers are encouraged.
If you can assist as a parent volunteer, please fill out the attached form. Thank you to the parents who have already volunteered their time.

DISCUS: Discus will be held at the Athletics Carnival at 8.00am. Children wishing to participate in this event must know how to use a discus correctly, participation in Little Athletics is favourable. Please email setsport@arm.catholic.edu.au if your child is participating in discus by Thursday 19th June, 2025.
1500m Event: If you would like to nominate your child for the 1500m event for the Diocesan Athletics Carnival, please email setsport@arm.catholic.edu.au with your child's time. Please understand that this is not an automatic qualification.
Time permitting, we will be holding the annual ‘Parent/Teacher 100m Dash’ towards the end of the day at the Athletics Carnival. Parents can self-nominate on the day! See you at the start line.

Please keep a lookout for these in your cupboards, school bags, dirty clothes baskets, even under beds. We are still missing a considerable number of shirts, which will be required to be handed back in this term.

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
