Principal's Message

It's been a busy and exciting first month here at BPS! Our positive start to the school year has continued over the weeks, and it’s been fantastic to see students across all year levels so settled and actively engaged in their learning.

A particular highlight was our Meet the Teacher/Cohort Classroom Assembly. Although brief, the interviews provided a wonderful opportunity to put names to faces and start building the crucial partnership between home and school. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend. If you couldn’t make it to the event but would like to connect with your child’s teacher.

Community Support

We have received incredible support from Bunnings for the development of our new Gaga Pit. Their generous contribution is helping to make this space more attractive and engaging for our students.

In addition to their support for the Gaga Pit, Bunnings has also kindly donated colourful paint for our students to use in creating handprints on the pit. This will allow the children to leave their mark on this fun and vibrant new area, making it even more special for everyone.

We are grateful to Bunnings for their ongoing support and look forward to seeing the positive impact this exciting project will have on our school community. Thank you to all involved, and we can't wait to see the finished product!

Attendance- EVERY DAY COUNTS

The new school start time this year is 8:35 AM. We are committed to providing our students with a great education, and the foundation for this starts with students attending school every day.

There is no safe number of days for missing school—each day a student misses puts them behind and impacts their educational outcomes.

School starts at 8:35 AM and finishes at 3:00 PM each day.

Enrolments Now Open for 2025

Enrolments for 2025 are still open. If your child is attending 4-year-old kindergarten this year and will be starting school next year, please note that enrolment at the school is required. This process does not happen automatically, so we kindly ask that you come to the office to complete the enrolment.
