Hello from 3Q

The 2025 school year is off to an exciting start, and everyone is buzzing with enthusiasm for the incredible adventures that await us in 3Q! Students are eager to dive into a year filled with new challenges, learning experiences, and opportunities for growth. From exploring new subjects and tackling fun projects to making new friendships and memories, this year promises to be unforgettable. We’re all looking forward to the exciting moments ahead, whether it’s in the classroom or out on excursions. The journey ahead is sure to be one full of discovery and fun!

This week has been full of exciting new experiences as students have settled into their classroom, gotten to know their classmates, and started building relationships with their teacher. We’ve worked together to create our classroom expectations, laying the groundwork for a respectful and productive year ahead. Everyone has contributed their ideas, and it’s been inspiring to see how eager the students are to create a positive learning environment for one another.

Our journey into learning has already been full of hands-on excitement, especially in math. We’ve explored a variety of fun and interactive math games that not only make learning engaging but also help reinforce key concepts. These games are perfect for building teamwork and problem-solving skills as we work together to solve challenges.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! We’ve had the chance to meet all of our specialist teachers and dive into some really fun activities in subjects like Physical Education, Music, Art, and ICT. Whether we were moving and playing in PE, expressing ourselves through creativity in Art, or discovering new sounds and rhythms in Music, each class has been a new adventure. One of the highlights was learning how to spell our names in Auslan (Australian Sign Language), which was both fun and meaningful. It’s been a week full of laughter, learning, and collaboration, and we can’t wait to see where the rest of the year takes us!
